The Dreamcast box itself is pretty small. You should be able to fit it in there somewhere. What kind of space do you have available?

I'm not sure yet because the inside is empty.  I think the monitor and computer are going to take up most of the room though but I was hoping someone around here had squeezed one in there...

You SHOULD be able to squeeze one in there, although changing discs will be impossible. You might be better off just covertly putting it near the cabinet, with a single cable running into the machine.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

You might be able to make one of the speaker grills and hide it under that... and put some hinges on it.

So you open the grill and there it is.

what I did for my defender cab (standup) was to put it right behind the coin door.  And took the key off, added a handle to the coin slot... so now you open it up and there it is.  I wanted to hack the dreamcast to have the top always off.  And hook the dreamcast open connector to the coindoor (so when you opened the coin door, the dreamcast thought you opened the dreamcast....  Then mount the dreamcast to a board that entirely closed out the coin door....

but I got it working just sitting inside and go with that...

but having it right inside the coin door works pretty well for changing games.... but you have to remove the coin mechs.

That is an awesome idea.  I might just give it a shot.  I bought 4 6x9 standard speaker grills for either side of the cabinet - one for the fan and one for a speaker on each side so I think this is doable.  Too bad the Dreamcast isn't front loading...

Here's a peek inside my Midway SI cocktail. The game boards are removed in these shots, but everything else is in there. It looks to me like there would be plenty of room for both a decased PC and a Dreamcast. You might even build a shelf behind the coin box to set the Dreamcast on so you can reach in through the coin door to change disks. Careful of that monitor though. :)
