Wonder if he decided to become a detective / police officer after his great acting in Kazaam and Steel.

It's actually cool to see citizens stand up to do the right thing; but he wants to be seen as a police officer and not a citizen. Yet he's not on the Police force. Well not yet

Right, but one more officer, especially a famous one, isn't nearly as much help as, say, buying them 150 portable defibrillators.
