Im putting this up because Tron has a special place in many arcade gamers hearts. especially that controller on it!

The "problem" with it is likely a bad power supply.
They were notorious for that.

That one probably only needed a cap kit. I would have made a valiant effort to purchase it. But then I love Tron.

I had a shot at one awhile back for $100, that didn't powerup at all, had a really ugly top-fire stick on it, and needed ALOT of TLC on the art/cabinet.

I would have bought it in a heartbeat except that the guy didn't have the keys for it either, so I couldn't tell if the boards were present, wiring was shredded, monitor was intact, etc...
I didn't want to pay $100, and then have to replace everything in/on the cab afterward.

There's a good condition, working one near me that they want $700 or $800 for.
That's a little steep for me though.
I'd probably go $500 on it, if I had the money to burn.

For one needing a monitor, but in good shape otherwise, I'd probably go $300.
The monitor will cost you about $200-$300 to replace with a new one--depending on where you live.
It would cost less to replace it with a good condition used one, if you can find one locally.

I've got a note into this guy to see if it is still available ... nothing yet (and he hasn't responded to anybody else I know either).

Not holding my breath, but damn that is just so close (geographically) and I check CL every 3-4 days for local machines.

Cheers.

If anyone's looking for one in the southeast, gameforce hixson in Chattanooga, TN has one he said he would sell for 350 cash and carry.

(He started off at 700)

Working the last time I stopped in about a month ago.

Later,

so is this a retail location that sells games or just a collector? i get up to chattanooga every so often (I work in rome and live in ATL). I'm assuming this one works fine and is decent condition?
