« on: September 07, 2005, 02:22:46 am »
ok i have 4 hard drivin sit down cabs...yea i got them cheap..anyways 2 of them have race drivin pcbs in them and one of them worked for a while and now all i can do is get into the bios of the game...the game when turned to normal mode will not boot up just screen flicker of a little garbage...nothing able to see...Also some of the games the force feedback dosent work or it only works going one way...is that thwe motors themselves or the pcb supplying the power to the motor? thanx

the force feedback is probably a combination of needing a new 10turn pot, and or new motor brushes (they wear down over time esp if attract steering is left on), and or to clean the motors contacts very well with electronics cleaner.   (Maybe a very light sanding with fine grit paper if cleaning dosnt work)

Im decent with mechanics, but not the electronics.  You may wish to try the arcade newsgroups for that.
