Formal apology to twobits.com!
« on: September 06, 2005, 04:00:28 pm »
I previously badmouthed twobits for the prices of their repros.  Well, I'd like to formally apologize.  Why?  The guy at twobits I dealt with (Bob Sokol) is amazingly cool, and not only sent me FREE carriage bolts without even purchasing anything, but then gave me a deal on an ORIGINAL Pac-man bezel for $60+$10 shipping, AND to top it off (cause I was going out of town) he actually decided to ship it to me before even receiving payment!  The bezel is as nice as he said.  Couldn't ask for anything more than that!  Thanks, Bob.

Did you contact them about it?  From my experience they bend over backward to help out.  I mean, realistically, bezels will flake if you aren't careful.  But I don't know how careful or rough you were with it.  Do you have other complaints with twobits stuff other than your 1 flaking bezel?

Hey again, fellow Pac-friend.  I actually just received my original Pac bezel earlier today!     Fantastic shape!  AND I actually got it from twobits  for a really nice price, cause the guy pulled it out of a machine and replaced it with one of his repros (why??)  But, why ask why?    You might want to email him and see if he could ever have access to any more.

You got an original that is better quality :P Their repros suck!
