Video Game Lot GONE - Thanks!
« on: September 05, 2005, 10:47:21 pm »
Everything is gone - but please do whatever you can to help!

================================================

My wife used to live in the Gulfport area and still has many friends in the area.

One of these friends, Laura M. is basically a second mother to her.  She did get out of the area prior to the storm, and has received word that her house only has minor damage (she has even allowed several friends from New Orleans to "move in" while she is away).  Her husband passed away a  couple of years ago and has been working several jobs since to make ends meet  (at a school, a Hallmark store, and in theater concessions).  So needless to say she won't be able to go back to work for a while.  She has not asked for money but her sister has gotten word out that she is in need of money for bills and living expenses.

We are sending what we can but would like it to be a little more. I realized I haven't used my classic systems in a while so I figured I would see if anyone would be interested in an  "instant console collection" of 8 Systems, 80+ games, controllers, etc.

I don't have time to go through and figure out what everything is worth individually or mess with ebay.  I would like to sell everything as one lot and will just take just about any  reasonable offer.  Buyer pays actual shipping and all proceeds will be given to Laura to help with her expenses.  Paypal is preferred.  Please PM me with any questions.

All systems have power bricks and AV hookups (including S-video where applicable).  All worked the last time they were hooked up - but haven't been used in several months so systems/games may need to have their contacts cleaned.

SYSTEMS:

1 NES -  3 original controllers, light gun, 1 controller extension

2 SNES - 4 Nintendo brand controllers and 1 Superpad controller

1 N64 - 2 Nintendo brand controllers, 2 Madcatz brand, 4 extensions, memory card, rumble pack, Memory Expansion

1 Original Genesis/1 Smaller Genesis (older version) - Master System converter (modified to work
on both versions), 2 Sega controllers, 1 off-brand controller, SMS lightgun (lightgun apparently doesn't work)

1 Sega Saturn - 1 Nights controller, 1 Sega controller, 2 off-brand controllers, lightgun

I have no clue what all of that would be worth together, so I would hate to lowball you.

  • Yeah.
I honestly am not sure myself as I said - but maybe $200 (+ shipping of course) ?

If that is too high or if someone thinks that I am lowballing myself please let me know.

Edit edit: I think listing the way I got about the above price was confusing the task at hand so I edited it out for the moment.

    • Pezchasers - Home of Twilight Zone: the Arcade Game
If you decide to break it up, I have some interest in some of the games (Mario Party 3, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, etc..).
