Does anyone know the size monitor dedicated moonwalkers had, or many of the 1990 sega games, as it looks like some of them had the same cabinets, like alien storm and moonwalker, I am building a dedicated moonwalker and need to get it exact as possible.

My machine is from 1991 and it uses a 20" - it is a dedicated cabinet though, so the design might not be the same. Unless it was just modified for the new system.

My mame cab started its life as a moonwalker, but was a Neo-Geo when I got it.  It came with a 25in WG 7193 monitor.  The cabinet is marked on the back with a little paper/sticker plate that has the date and the fact that it was a moonwalker.  If you want any pictures of the data plate and other stickers on the back drop me an email, I will take them.  The manual is yours if you want it....

Oops forgot to say my cab was a Dynamo...

I know the shape of a dedicated moonwalker, so if you could send pictures of the cabinet I could tell you if its the right cab im looking at...Is anyone positive on the size of the monitor, Im talking about this cab...

Ok, with money NOT being an issue, would my project look more like an authentic moonwalker if I used a 27 inch monitor or a 20 inch monitor (cabinet size based on size of the monitor of course)????

I would defently say that the monitor in those pictures is bigger than 20"

Here is the actual screen, the black around it is bezel with instructions, and the red around it is more of the bezel, I labeled the actual monitor, any ideas?

Don't know if you have a marquee yet but coinop.org has one listed for $25 in excellent condition.  Go to http://coinop.org/sale/ and scroll down to the bottom of the page.

 They have a 25"

Here is ANOTHER reference to them having a 25" monitor. 3rd or 4th one I could find, with no references to them having a 19".

I think you are basing the idea of them having a 19" monitor on a picture that is a mockup from a flyer and not even an actual machine.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.
