So what are my choices for Spinners?
« on: August 27, 2005, 02:59:13 pm »
Now that oscars is not accepting orders, is the slickstik my only option.  The review I read says that it just spins and spins and spins... and well you get the point.  I was hoping for a spinner with a little less resistance, but if that is the way I have to go so be it.

Any pointers appreciated.

According to one of the posts by Kelsey himself (here), it looks like this limited access is only for the summer.  Other members seem to remember this happening last year as well.  So it does seem that Kelsey and crew will be back once their busy real time jobs calm down.  Unfortunately, there are no definate dates as to when he'll be back though.

So if you really want an Oscar spinner, and have the patience for it, wait for Kelsey to return.  Otherwise, you can get one on e-bay or in the Buy Sell Trade Forum.  Slik Stik makes a fine spinner as well though too.  There are also plenty of DIY options on this board too.  Just give it a search.

I was able to get a V2 spinner on the Buy/Sell/Trade forum from a great seller.  Great spinner for sure!

Great news.  I might be able to wait it out.   Got a cab for a great price and then decided I wanted a 27" monitor.  The monitor does not fit the cab, so I am going to have to build one from scratch.  Should be a good month or so before I start on the CP.
