I don't think it's a steal.
Looks like the cab's missing all the side/front art.
That would make the deal "fair", rather than "great", to me.

Second the sentiment, although I know a guy who has a nonworking (no PCB, other things) CC that he wants to MAME solely for trackball games that use the same controls as CC, which is a nice idea.

Cheers.

EDIT:: Just to be clear, I would be against MAMEing a WORKING CC, like this one.
Working: Not Enough
Projects: Too Many
Progress: None

Eh, there is a thread on RGVAC that is about CC. The main draw of the game is the cabinet. So, this one isn't worth all that much.

My wants: Warlords Cocktail

That's an average price for that game, though it's a shame the side-art is gone. The original side-art is a big part of this cabinet's charm. Otherwise the game itself gets tiring a bit quickly.

I would warn not to mame this since it's fully working.
NO MORE!!

That's about the maximum I'd pay for a working CC cabinet with no sideart.  I thought I saw something in the artwork forum re: CC sideart (maybe someone is working on it?)

"I'd" buy this cabinet if:
1- I wanted to restore the artwork (I like CC artwork).
... and ...
2- I wanted to build my own control panel with similar graphics and a button or two to go with the trackball.

If I wanted a fighter cabinet, I'd pass.
If I wanted a frankenpanel, I'd pass.
A modular or a swappable panel setup might work... but it's probably not the best cabinet for it... of course that leaves room for innovation. ;)
