Wow, that's pretty cool.  I guess you play guitar?  One thing that I am incorporating into my arcade cabinet (SLOWLY under construction) is a pair of DIY speaker enclousures.  I'm totally new to the speaker design thing, but I was reading through some web sites on home speaker construction, and a lot of people were building different size/shape boxes out of MDF.  I figured since I was pretty much doing the same thing for the arcade, why not include a few more pieces of MDF and try to make home HI-FI speakers as part of the arcade machine.  I chose some full range 6" Fostex Drivers, and using a free speaker design program called WinISD, I came up with a bass reflex type speaker box of such a volume/port tuning that would extend the bass response of the drivers.  I have no idea if it will all work out, or sound good, but I figured what the hell.  I know it's silly to have hi-fi speakers in an arcade game, but my design is going to use a projector instead of a monitor, so I could also use it to show movies, and as a jukebox of course, so having some fancy speakers will be nice if I'm able to build the whole thing properly.
