- Successful TRON Spinner Optical Board -> Mouse Hack! -
« on: August 19, 2005, 05:27:05 am »
Hey guys'n'gals,

I've managed to hack an original TRON spinner Midway optical board to a USB/PS2 mouse.

From reading the forum, most people just replace this board with a happ or Oscar one as it's pretty complex.

Details here.

Nice work!  I have a Tron spinner sitting in the garage right now waiting for Oscar to open shop again.  I'll give your hack a try first.
Next I'll be on fries, and that's when the big money starts rolling in.

That's awesome!  I have one of those, and I've spent fair amount of time scratching my head looking at the thing.  Nice work!
