Is there anyway to safely remove side art so that it can be reusded ?

Hi. Is there a way to remove sideart without ruining it.. I was thinking it would be cool if you could. Then you could have a different theme for your cab every couple of months without having to buy more art. One thing i thought of was to buy a sheet of thin steel and stick your side art on it. then you could get some of that magnetic computer paper and use it to apply the art. to the cab.   The problem would be that it would stick  out a tiny bit from the surface of the cabinet. Any ideas ?

If I wanted to preserve side-art I'd have it professionally laminated.  That also makes it a little more tear and spill proof (good if you have kids).

Then it's as easy as applying some sort of temporary bond to the back of it (double-sided tape, etc) and sticking it up for a few months at a time.

Yes it's going to still stick out a little, but it will last a hell of a lot longer that way.

Actually side art like any other type of decal will stretch, crack, warp, partially unglue, etc when you try to remove it. Side art is generally considered an 'expendable' which is why so many sources carry replacement side art.

Anything you do to it to try and make it easy to remove & re-use is only going to make the cab look non-authentic and probably make it look fairly cheap as well.

There's a way to do most anything.  Would it look authentic?  Well, it isn't going to look like oil paint on wood.  Although you could have like, removable sides of your cabinet and switch the sides entirely.
