WTB control panel for this cabinet
« on: August 10, 2005, 11:24:24 pm »
Here are a couple of pics of a project cab I have:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0803/criteriondvd/MAME%20Cabinet/100_0536.jpg

24.5" Width
73" Height
32.5" Depth (controller support to rear)

It is covered (inside & outside) with black formica. Cabinet is in excellent shape. There are no stickers or labels anywhere on/in the cabinet.

I'm not really sure what the cab was originally as there are no stickers or markings anywhere to be found. Others have suggested that it's possibly an Atari cab (Dig Dug, Kangaroo, Centipede, Arabian, etc) or a Dynamo Generic cab. If anyone has an idea as to what it is, please post.

Anyway, If someone has a control panel that will fit, I'm in the market to buy.

Just let me know: criteriondvd AT hotmail.com

I'm 90% sure that's an Atari cabinet.

Any control panel from Dig Dug, Kangaroo, Arabian, or Centipede will fit your machine, which is an atari cabinet, either a Dig Dug, Kangaroo, or Arabian. It is NOT a Centipede, but Centipede parts will fit that cabinet.

I have one exactly like that, it has a 25'' vertical monitor.

It's definately not a Q*Bert cab. Not Dig Dug or Centipede either. Most likely a converted Kangaroo or Arabian. Although any of the control panels for the above will fit. (except Q*Bert).

I found a couple of used ones here: http://www.shootagainamusements.com/sale.html that will work for you. $8-$11 + shipping. #1 & #3 look to be a good start.
