Anyone going to the CGExpo this year?
« on: August 09, 2005, 02:01:01 am »
I'm going to have a booth. No parts, but 4 Dream Arcades on display to play. I thought it might be nice to see if any members are going?

I'd also be glad to take a few orders if anyone wanted to save on shipping by picking up their orders at the show.

It's in the bay area,  near the San Francisco airport.

I am considering going for a day.  Went to CA Extreme last week - great show.  Haven't been to CGE before.

I'm also in the Folsom area.

I almost took some systems to CA Extreme, but we are just too busy right now.

Also, if you ever order from us you can save on shipping by picking up the parts at our shop (behind the Folsom Vet hospital off Bidwell st.)

If you go be sure to stop by our booth,
Mike

Arcade and classic games, like pong units, old Atari machines, etc. I think they have both setup to play, just not as many arcades as CA extreme.

I wish I lived near there, the new thin NES that 'Messiah Games' is going to premiere this year looks hot: http://www.playmessiah.com

I have two of their wireless controllers for my old front loader and they work like a charm

Looking at this site is very hard to tell what they're actually selling.  Are they selling roms?  Are they selling some kind of updated NES console?  I can't tell.

How did you hear of these guys?

bossyman15:

From their homepage, the Register section includes information on ticket prices.

The Information section has the hours.

Parking is not mentioned but, since it is a hotel and on hotel row near the airport, I would think there is sufficient parking at the hotel or in the general area.

Messiah Games is a third party manufacturer that only has been around forthe last year or so; they don't sell any Roms or updated systems because they don't hold any of Nintendo's copyrights.
