Well this is really my first PaintShop item, my wife helped me with it too :) Gave me some pointers to speed things up a bit.

Please let me know what you REALLY think.

Kill? Hurt?  What's that about?  It looks out of place IMO.

It is supposed to read as Kill Mame Hurt,
As in Kill, Maim, Hurt.

Ah well, my wife and I thought it was cute.
Seeing as how it will be mostly fighting games it plays.

Tekken, Street Fighter, KOF, etc etc etc  the usual gaumut of them.

I will load any and every rom that works on the machine.
But the genre that will get the most play is the fighting games, because my wife
and I LOVE fighting games :D

Tekken 1 and 2 are playable.
Tekken 3 is very slow even on my MASSIVE laptop.
Tekken 1 and 2 may not have sound, but I keep the sound off alot of the time anyway.

Plus I am STRONGLY considering buying a Tekken 3 board.

ZiNc does Tekken 1 and 2 OK.

Otherwise you can chuck a dedicated board in, or throw a PS2 in there and play Tekken 1-5 (or any one of a million 2D and 3D fighters) almost arcade perfect for a fraction of the price.

Considering how bloody good console ports are or arcade games these days, console cabs are a nice setup for 3D fighter fans.

Even without the Tekken games, there are still a few hundred fighting games that
work perfectly on mame. Many that my wife and I ahve never really played before.

Sure 90% of them are copies of something else. But hey, how differant can a fighting
game really be?

Oh lol, I get it now  ;D  I'm just so used to seeing the M.A.M.E. acronym that it didn't even occur to me.

Hey, there are 1000 shmups in MAME.  Sure, they're all copies... but how different can shooters be?

Hey, there are 1000 puzzle games in MAME.  Sure, they're all copies.... but how differetn can puzzle games be?

Are you starting to see how rediculous statements like that are?  Fighting fans, just like shmup/puzzle/platform/driving fans all have their favourites and their not-so-favourites of their particular genre.  Just because you don't like/understand a genre, doesn't immediately mean it's worthless.

I was mearly trying to say, I think I can live without 3 games, I.E. Tekken 1,2 and 3

And I was merely trying to say that maybe some people can't.  I'm no Tekken fan, but saying things like "you can live without Tekken" to someone who loves the series is a bit silly.  You see where I'm heading with this?

Anyways... flogging a dead horse.  Less arguing, more game playing!

Somewhat clever, yet somewhat... goofy?  I think you might get tired of it.  Just my honest opinion.

I am kinda thinking the same. Although I like the Kill MAME Hurt, I am not so sure on the design.   Gotta work on that some.

Maybe if you made the KILL and HURT somewhat similar in typeface/color to your MAME logo it would look better.
