Where to get cool spinner knob?
« on: August 05, 2005, 07:21:15 pm »
I am replacing my dedicated 4-way joystick with a spinner on my control panel, and we're close to finishing the spinner (just need to make the encoder wheel and hack a mouse).

I currently have a cruddy radio shack knob on my spinner, but I remember seeing some pretty slick alluminum spinner knobs once when I was reading these boards.  I think those were from Oscar, but I can't remember.  And if they are from Oscar, is there any other place to get them since he is not really open for business right now?

Oscar has some nice ones, but I really like some of SlikStik's Spinner knobs.  They are really really nice looking IMO

I got mine off of one of my construction sites.  We were demolishing an old 1970's x-ray machine that had some big ol jog dial nobs.  I think mine are like 2.75 to 3"

Any nob with a .25" shaft will do
