FS: Pole position II (US/NJ) *sold*
« on: August 03, 2005, 02:13:44 pm »
I have a Pole position II in perfect working order, but I have no room for it. Monitor has just been professionally serviced and looks great. Can anyone use it?? I would like to get $350 for it, but please feel free to make me an offer. I could use in trade a Ms. Pac cab, obviously not a working one....

Now only $275, and I can deliver it a reasonable distance for a resonable price ;D

Thanks, Patrick

That thing is gorgeous.  Wish you were closer.  I have a non-working PPII in the basement right now that I've been looking for boards and such to repair.  I'd love to have one that actually works, but jersey's a little too far.

I still have this game available. USSEnterprise was going to take it, but with careful measurement realized it was slightly too big to make the turn to get into his basement :(

Also forgot to mention... I have all the original manuals that came with the game.

Make me an offer and you could be the proud owner of a great game.

It is a real shame that the PP and PPII boards are designed so damn poorly.  Those two games should be in any good gameroom.  There have been few better examples of a combination of replayability, fun, and simplicity.

Are the Pole Position games known for problems?  I'd consider getting this but don't know much about maintaining boards other than the cab I've built...

I haven't been out of the house yet today. What're gas prices up to in NJ, since they are usually cheapest in NJ

Oh man I'd hate to see this get parted out.  It's so hard to find PP II working.  However, if you do part it out I may be interested in some of the internals, mine sits in the basement not working at the moment.  I really hope someone picks this up in one piece.

Im in union county and would be interested maybe if by 275 you meant 50.  I would really like it but cant afford it at 275 though.

There is one here in Atlanta FS on Craig's list, though this guy wants $350 and I do not think it is in nearly as good shape.  I like the sound of $150-$175 myself.  It just seems like PPII is not very rare.  I dunno though, I have not been shopping for one though it would look very nice in the gameroom.
