how do i display ms pacman corect in cocktail mode ?

Hi I am trrying to figure out how to display ms pacman in c.t. mode.

"Cocktail mode" only means that the game flips 180 degrees for each player (cuz they'd each be sitting at opposite ends of the table).

What you want to mess with is in the MAME options, not the game's own built-in options.

Are you trying to turn the image to make it display vertically rather than horizontally to take up the full screen? cocktail mode only applies to screen flipping.

alan, ya thats what im  trying to do.

You need to run mame with a setting like -rol (rotate left) or -ror (rotate right) in order to get your screen oriented vertically.  Alternatively, you can change these in your mame config file.

in the mame.ini file (create it by running "mame -cc") you change the rol or ror to 1 (rotate left or rotate right).

use autoror or autorol instead!  This ensures all vertical games end up rotated the same way.
