Capcom Games & Boarders??

My Cab setup is a Well-Gardner monitor hooked up to a ArcadeVGA card, i have used the auto res tool form the Ultimarc site to set up correct res. But when i play Capcom games they dont fill the whole screen out and have baorders at the top and bottom. If i try to stretch the screen, it stretches so far but then starts to get a squashed effect at the bottom of the screen, why is this?

Is there any chance MAME is set to play with the bezels on?

Tried the bezels setting didnt make any difference. What i did notice that if i select Auto for screen res it fixed the problem. So it must be down to the res that the Auto Res tool sets it at!
