any one have a atomiswave
« on: July 29, 2005, 10:47:10 pm »
Im trying to get some info on the atomiswave system. Id like to buy one when I get a little more cash they seem to be getting cheaper. Heres my questions.

1. Is it correct that this can be hooked up to a standard resolution monitor thru the jamma connector or connected to a vga capable monitor like a dg9200 or a computer monitor for hi resolution. I looks like there is a switch.

2. What games have you tried and how do you like them? Dolphin blue looks like it might be pretty good looks like a metal slug type game.

3. are these completely jamma compatible?

4. How many buttons are used per person?

I have a couple of friends with an Atomiswave setup and I have a system on the way with Demolish Fist and Dolphin Blue. Dolphin Blue is an incredible 3d Metal Slug type of shooter. The bosses are amazing!

The Atomiswave can output video to VGA or just through the JAMMA connector (theres a switch).

They are completely JAMMA compatible and require modification. Only modification that would be required would be that some games require 5 buttons (Jamma pin 26).

Hope this helps,

Nope it's just std res (15Khz) or VGA at 31.5Khz
