FS: Cabs in CT: Op Wolf, Heavy Barrel, Hard Drivin
« on: July 28, 2005, 09:29:28 pm »
All cabs are somewhat but not totally working.  Here's the scoop:

1. Heavy Barrel - Used to work, I think the monitor is now blown

2. Hard Drivin - You can play for about 30 seconds but then you get a "MSP Timeout Error"

3. Op Wolf - Used to work, now when you turn it on you get a screen full of hash characters

Make an offer on any of them.  I'd prefer to sell whole cab but might be willing to sell parts if I don't get any other offers.

Feel free to PM me with any questions or if you need more pics.

Sorry, I'm located in Connecticut (CT).  I guess the subject is kind of filled with too many abbreviations..

Yes, if no one wants the whole cab I'll probably part those out, someone has already asked me about the pcb.

where in CT? I really, really, really shouldn't but the Hard Drivin' kinda sorta has my eye. Have an entire basement full of arcade stuff, could be open to possible trade fodder as well.

I'm in CT as well (branford)

I'm in Stratford, CT.  The hard drivin errors after 30 seconds of play with an "MSP timeout error".  Not really sure why.  I'm pretty sure I have a bunch of spare parts (pedals, other mechanical stuff) for it somewhere in my house too.  Let me know if you'd like to check it out.

Thanks,

Rob

ooo, that's not far at all, heck I go by there on my way home from work.

I'd bet dollars to donuts the error is a video RAM issue. I'll have to look at my logbook, I think I've done at least one hard drivin' board repair in my time. I have over 200 boardsets in my basement shop, I may well have a set lurking around here myself...

I'll see if my schedule permits a visit at some point in the not too distant future

Do you have an idea of the prices you are looking for, roughly obviously. Just curious as I am in Middletown and work in New Haven, so it's a short ride for me.
