Plasma glass in cabinet
« on: July 27, 2005, 06:40:39 pm »
I have installed my Luminglass plasma light into may cabinet and have been running it for a week with no problems at all.  I had considered doing this and was worried there may be EMF interference.  One older thread here suggested it would wreak havoc with the computer and the monitor.  Some guy even said his Luminglas would change his TV channels!  Take a look.  Special thanks to Pixelhugger for the artwork!
The BLOG on the cabinet progress can be found here!

Where can I find this stuff?  I want to put it over my speakers on the jukebox I am about to start.

I purchased mine locally at a Spencer gift store...it is a 12" version(16" outer diameter).  I have seen them on Ebay, but watch the price w/shipping.  Expect to pay $50 for the 12".  I have seen similar tri-color ones 8" at Target, there is also a 6" version in several color choices.
