problem with ground wire hook up

ok im trying to wire up my control panel right now, its a two player control panel with 6 buttons each player, im using a IPAC2 and my question is: do i wire player 1 controls separate than player 2s controls? on the IPAC2 there are 2 ground connections? 1 for each player right?

You can wire them all together through one ground, or use seperates for each player.

It doesen't matter if you use 1 or both it all works by personal experiance, and my lazyness to not have to do seperate daisy chains :-X

On the minipac you simply daisy chain all of the grounds from each switch.

thanks for the info, but i dont really understand what daisy chain? is, dont i just have to put 2 wires in each disconnect and create a wire harness? is that the same thing. ??? im trying to follow it in the spystyle guide below:

The instructions for daisy chaining are right at the middle of the page you linked.

A picture of an imaginary green wire passing through all buttons. Then the actual crimping 2 wires together into a single connector to get it done.

yeah i had a feeling that it was daisy chaining, but it didnt say that so i didnt know thanks, so i guess i will just daisy chain all of the buttons together player 1 and player 2, thanks for the help ;)

The advantages of keeping them seperate is that you could decide to mess around with one of the sets and yet still be able to play with the other one.....

If you wire them in one big loop - I-PAC Gnd to button 1 to button 2 to . . . and back to I-PAC Gnd, then you have to have two breaks in the gnd wire before you will even notice it.  If you wire them separate, you will have a shorter run to troubleshoot if you ever have problems.  Your call.
