One Button Start Up
« on: July 14, 2005, 10:24:05 pm »
OK I finished my MAMe machine and have not found a good way to have one button to start the PC.  I am using a smart strip so once I go into the back of the machine and start the PC, it all fires up great.  Is there a way to have a keyboard stroke start the PC on a new Dell?  Checked the BIOS and didn't see anything obvious. If not, has anyone had experience trying to wire the PC switch to a microswitch?  Any other ideas?  Thanks

Wiring to a microswitch works fine, I have a crappy case so I just cut the  wire to it and put an extension on it and wired it to a different switch.
