Yes, I'm asking. Yes, it's been talked about. No, I can't figure out what the heck the real answer is. I've read about splicing and cutting. I've read that there's soldering involved.
I have a Mame cab w/Radeon 9200. I know for a fact that it is using S-Video to output to my TV.
1st, will a GunCon2 compatible gun work with Mame given the downloadable drivers are installed and the gun is recognized by Windows XP Pro w/SP2.
2nd, are there any modifications that need to be made either to the gun or the way it connects? If it connects with composite video how the heck am I going to achieve that? --> if I have a composite video out on the video card can I connect the gun to that and still have the regular output going to through the S-Video port?
Is there a downside to using these guns vs. the Act Labs guns? Thanks in advance.
