2 player start randomly fires on ipac? Any clue?

Ok, so i'm playing games and occasionally player two button will fire and if its a two player game start a second player...  Anyone have any clue what would cause this?

Look for a short somewhere,

maybe 2 switches are resting against the same bolt, also check loose wires..

You usre it's the IPAC? More than likely, it's an attached switch. Try unplugging the related switch for a while and still see if you have your problem. If not, then you know where the problem is.

try swithcing the microswitches around too. I've seen it before too where its a defective switch.

Thanks for all the great ideas, unfortuntaly I won't be able to mess with it again until friday, these freaking tests just keep coming hard and fast from all directions... ugh
