If you have a USB trackball and USB spinner, then an Opti-Pac is totally useless for you.

An Opti-Pac is designed to have devices direct wired into it.

If you wanted to direct wire your devices using an opti-pac, you'd have to convert them to non-usb devices, which would requre either swapping the optical encoder boards or modifying the existing boards (assuming that is possible).

This would definitely be a lot of work.

You could buy a USB card with enough ports in it and then plug the spinner and ball directly into your PC. That may be a cheaper solution too.

I did something similar to what clanggedin is suggesting.  My trackball is P/S2.  So was my spinner.  I got a usb converted and plugged it into my usb port.  Yes, one will move the other, but the odds of that happening too regularly are extremely slim.

I thought Oscar Controls was closed for the time being.
