Mame32 and sound.
« on: July 07, 2005, 04:13:57 pm »
I noticed that some of the games in Mame32 don't have sound even when they should.  Am I correct when I look at the description screen and it says samples at so many khz?   Doesn't that mean it has sound w/it?    Space Invaders the B & W version is one of them.   There are quite a few that I found.   Luckily there are multiple versions of the different games that I can try.   Just thought someone might have an idea why some work and some don't when they say it is working.

Do you actually *have* the samples?

Is the samples directory detailed in your mame.ini file?
