Cup holders
« on: July 06, 2005, 12:55:10 am »
Anyone know where I can find some good looking cup holders? I have some from ebay that go to a VW van. I'm sure you've all seen them. They're the ones that fold up and in. They look good when folded but they just look kind of cheesy on the cab. The ones on Kneivel's neon cab look really good. Googling brings up an insane amopunt of pages to flip through and I didn't really find anything new on ebay. ANy help will be great.

I just picked up a couple of in-car cupholders from AutoZone and attacked them with a dremel. Came out quite nicely (plus you don't pay for shipping).

If you want some drop-in cup holders.. there are card/gaming sites that sell them for card tables and such..

http://www.kardwell.com/ is a pretty large distributer.
There are drop in and also removeable slide in cup holders..

Just an idea.

Personally, I think the black plastic type of cup holders are good for arcade cabs.

There's always the $4 specials at Camping World. They are not beautiful, but they also aren't too busy looking.

I went with the same ones gozur had, any outdoor or boating store should carry them for under 5 bucks.  Plus they fold down

I have similar ones to Gozur as well and they work great but, I'd like them to be a little more stunning visually. I was looking for more options like these:

Ok, maybe a little more reasonably priced as well. There just seems to be a serious lack of options.

Jeez, I like the fold-up ones better than those ugly overpriced aluminum things.   :-X  On a black CP, you can hardly even notice it when folded.  I also like the adjustable 'claw' because you can also use it for regular sized glasses (mmmm, long island ice tea).

I went with this type of cupholder, click my Dragon's lair link below to get a look at what they look like on a cabinet.
