Perfect 360 Pushbuttons - Anyone tried these?
« on: December 18, 2002, 04:04:46 pm »
I noticed Happ has a perfect 360 pushbutton.

http://www.happcontrols.com/pushbuttons/50609000.htm

1.) How are these hooked up?  There are three prongs.

2.) Has anyone used these before?

Looks like Mama raised a Mamer.

I was under the impression that the 3 prongs are just like any other microswitch,
1 ground
1 normally open
1 normally closed

I could be wrong though.  Myself, I haven't ever tried them to give you a review

yes..one of my freind(this fool is super picky) has it.
Its not a big big difference then regular horizontal buttons.I thought happs dont have these anymore? ???

I were you,i would just go with regular horizontal buttons because they are  AS GOOD.i not sure about how the micro switchs go but i think is same as other switchs.

I'm pretty sure they're not worth even trying, because A: the pushing part of the button is flat, and B: it's too small.  I'm not 100% positive, but I'm almost positive I was on a cabinet that had like 2 out of 6 of those in it, it was like MvC2 or something, and they felt like absolute crap.  If you want the easiest feel go with Competition pushbuttons, and if you want the most arcade realistic feel go with horizontal pushbuttons.  Best to stick with what you know when it comes to things like joysticks and pushbuttons.
