Let me see....

Supports AMD socket 462 chips (only thing I use!) Athlon, AthlonXP, Duron (and I think Sempron although it isn't listed)

Up to 2gb DDR333 RAM (2 slots on board)

UltraDMA 133 (and below)

On-board sound, USB 2.0, 10/100 LAN

and it says it supports overclocking!  I've never seen that listed on a box before.

I am opposite you. I will generally only use intel, with exception of the Athlon 64. I wish I could afford one

Most Intel chips are cheaper or around the same price Athlon 64s anymore, especially if you go with Socket 754 Athlon64s.

I may even have a processor around here I can throw in.  Not sure, but I'll check later.

Ok, I found an Athlon Thoroughbred 1.67Ghz CPU in the closet.  It's used, but put back into it's original plastic OEM box.  So the motherboard now comes with a free CPU!  It's untested and will stay that way.  I don't feel like messing with it for a freebie.

I have no idea why I have these parts around, but someone else can surely use them.  I'm not building another MAME cab any time in the forseeable future, and this is definitely fast enough for MAME....considering the last rig I ran was using a 900Mhz Athlon.

They are typically faster, and are more stable to overclock.
