Author Topic: FS: Near-mint Virtua Fighter 9.7 out of 10 (Read 2885 times)

I picked up a Virtua Fighter off of one of my friends this past week and am trying to find a good home for it. I haven't actually physically picked up the cabinet yet so I don't have any pictures. From what he's told me the game plays perfectly, the monitor has no burn-in and the cabinet is perfect except for a scratch in the side art on the right side (player's right not cabinet right). I have a local person interested in the cabinet but he wants to MAME it. Howard suggested I try to find someone who'd be interested in the VF cabinet because it's a VF cabinet instead of giving a near-mint cabinet to someone who's gonna hack it up.

Anybody interested?

I'd have to find someone who'd let me borrow a truck. With the condition it's in it's worth $800ish. Make an offer and I'll mull it over.

Let me clarify... I'm not looking for near that much money and I'm open to reasonable offers. Like, take that number, divide it in half and offer something within reason from that number.

I'll have to think about it. To be honest, it's not one of my favorite games or anything.

It was more of a curiosity. And, I thought it might be cool to own if the price is right. That first price was more than I was looking to spend, but your latest post sounds a little better.

Also, now that the wife hears I'm looking to buy a video game, she's wanting to get something that she would enjoy too.

Know anyone with a Ms Pacman?

I'll still think it over a bit, but now I'm leaning against. BTW, did you ever get any pictures?

I was lied to about the quality of this machine. I'd rate it about an 8. I could use a new CPO. It's missing the decal on the left side. There's 3 mystery holes drilled in the right side and there's a scratch in the sticker on the other side. There's zero monitor burn. Game plays and sounds perfectly. Coin doors, joys and all buttons work perfectly.

That crap on the bezel is just dust that I forgot to clean off. The rubber stuff on the bezel pulled some of the paint off of the bezel.
