noob question:I-PAC and P360
« on: June 30, 2005, 08:20:06 am »
Hi all... Great site... Very informitive.

My question is, when wiring up the ground for the P360 do I take it from the pin header ground and gound it seperatly from the buttons or the ground with the screw terminal and daisy chain with all the buttons for that player???  Hope this is clear enough.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

It shouldn't matter.  The pin header ground and the screw terminal ground are supposed to be connected by traces on the board so they are basically the same terminal.

That said, I have read recent posts (regarding hooking up a Druin board) about problematic connections to the pin header ground, so I would recommend using the screw terminal ground.  It shouldn't hurt having the P360 and button daisy chain grounds connected to the same point.
