I think the general concensus on MDF is to 'glue' because screws have a tendency to rip out of MDF.   But just the other day somebody posted a link to the kind of screws that people should use with MDF.  I'll see if I can round it up for you.

i used coarse thread drywall screws and they seemed to work fine.  We'll see if they hold up.

The point wasn't the length of the screws, it's the type.  Those are not the normal screws that you pick up out of the big screw bin at your local Home Depot.

"Normal" screws will rip out of MDF which is why people suggest you glue an MDF cabinet instead of screwing it together.   However, if you want to screw it together instead of using dowels, biscuits, glue etc, then you can apparently do it with those kind of screws.

If he were concerned with understanding your point, he could have looked around at that link you posted.  He wants the exact answer to his question, not ideas or useless reading.  Specifically, you can't help HIM, because you aren't understanding what KIND of help he's looking for.  Something soft, requiring a long spoon, and could you feed it to him too, please?

Mus, I promise to offer you help if you ever show the slightest indication that you've read and attempted to understand something on your own instead of barraging us with every question on every item you seem unwilling to do the slightest bit of research on.
