did you look at the sketchup file at all...?

I most certainly did! I can't believe how that came out... where the heck were you when I was doing my Defender anyway! I myself have played with auto-cad and actually did a 3D design (I had a great tutor at the time) but man did it drive me crazy! I'm a software not a mechanical engineer!
I'm playing with sketchup now... its definitely more my caliber... I think all plans should be done this way... 2D "cuts" drawing and 3D "model/assembly" drawing. If I had access to more cabs I would document the hell out of them, cause so many are old and stinky.
I like original machines... as long as they don't stink and look good. However, I really like building a new ones (to the exact original specs), then get all of the trim pieces + electronics and basically have a carbon-copy nice shinny, not-so-smelly production quality arcade machine. Now I may just do that with this one... I wasn't going to but... we shall see.
BTW: I will most likely complete the plans... adding the coin box shelf and monitor shelf / bracket assembly... since these plans are coming out so nice... I hate to have them incomplete!
