Has anyone tried this?  This looks sweet!  Any feedback is appreciated before I drop almost $500 on it!  If this is remotely decent, it's driving range 24/7 365!

What the hell?  Either link the product or produce a picture.

Wow.  WTF was that for?  Sheesh...  If you don't know what it is, then you probably haven't tried it...

Well don't you think it would be a good idea to let us know what it is, so at least people would have an idea??? Instead of just saying "hey did you ever try the new ultra-mega cade? It rules!!!"

Plus... I still don't see anything on there name the "Launch Pad"

Whatever.  If I offended anyone, I apologize. My whole point was that if you didn't know what it was, then you probably haven't had experience with it and couldn't give me any info.

For example, if I saw a post asking for opinions on the new ultra-mega cade I would probably just pass on by and let it drop off the page.  I haven't heard of it, so odds are I've never used it and woldn't be able to add anything of value.  I wouldn't be all "OMG, WTF??  You didn't post the users manual, u newb!"

I'll quit trampling on people's feelings now...

but seeing as the Launch Pad is (I'm assuming) some sort of custom arcade machine... which is what this forum knows very well... if you posted a link to it, people could at least give you constructive critcisms on it or better/cheaper/etc alternatives.

You didn't hurt anyone's feelings... but you didn't make it easy for us to help you either.

Point taken.   :)

Actually, it's an add-on that let's you play the golf games with your own clubs.  A step up from the one that is available for xbox and ps2.  It looks pretty cool.  It seems to be a fairly new product - thus no real reviews on-line that have any substance.

I was thinking about it to complete a completely new setup much like the golf simulators @ Dave and Busters.

It's at the bottom right of the page I linked.  If you like golf at all, you might be interested!

Google turned one up for only $250 (only...heh  :P):  http://www.electricspin.com/
At least it cuts the price in half

heh.  Sorry man.  It came out a lot more serious than it sounded in my half warped and drug induced brain.  ;)  How could I forget the smirk?
