I plan to do this as well. Anyone know the reason you wouldn't want to put this side art on latex paint?

I was curious, so I whipped out the Google.

According to this - http://www.signcraft.com/messageboard/Messages.aspx?ThreadID=162 - it'll slide right off.

You should have no problem applying sideart or vinyl to sides painted with Latex paint.  The important thing is that the painted surface is very smooth and clean.

...and cured.  Make sure that the latex paint dries for at least 10-14 days to fully cure and 'outgas' before applying the art.  As always, chekc the instructions on the can for full drying time.

Agreed.  I have very large sideart applied to my latex painted cab with NO problems.

I applied Kilz primer, sanded, applied another coat, sanded, applied 3 coats of latex with sanding between each.  All done on MDF.  Looks very nice and is very smooth.
