Alright... i have decided it's finially time to kick it into gear... <claps>

i have a few ideas .... I am mainly looking for ur opinion on what is the best option.  Simply put, the most bang for my buck ( and no, i dont want a hooker)

I am unsure of what i wish to do... which plans to use i mean, i would like to get your opinions.

UII(mameroom), Lucid's or other?

Materials posessed:
Photoshop ( for artwork )
X-box ( soon to be modded )
2x playstation 2
2x dreamcast
2x playstation dual shock pads prewired for use wit arcade buttons
18x happ competition buttons ( black )
10x happ competition sticks (black)
12x happ concave buttons ( black)
Router
jigsaw
table saw
miter saw
power drill
20 gig hd in which to mod my box with
2x 27" TV
3x custom arcade sticks
1x tekken 5 anniversary modified arcade stick
mini fridge
700$ or so

What i will need regardless:
4x   3/4" 4'x8' MDF
1x   5/8" 4'x8' MDF
Marquee retainer
Backlight
T-molding
Bezel
Coin Door
Speaker shields
Player 1+2 start buttons
Speakers
Control Panel Clamps
Marquee
Side art
CP overlay
Monitor ( maybe? )

am i missing anything?

Regardless... i want this to be the showpeice of my basement. I would like to maybe use a 27" HDTV but i am unsure as to how well this will work, i already know an x-box outputs at VGA quality through it's RCA some how, and the dreamcast and ps2 look nearly arcade perfect quality on most tvs through RCA or RFU imputs.

I would like to use my 2x 27" tvs elsewhere in the room. So i can use my dreamcasts and playstations and other sticks there... make it a place to get together and play games, have tournements, etc.... The UNDERGROUND LAIR!! lolz

opinions would help.  Thanks..

Ok brother, let me clue you in on the way of the warrior path.

Ya want a big crowed, buy a used projector. I play Mortal Kombat Deception on a 8 foot wide screen. Hell yea! ( I still say that every time I think about it). Nothing like scorpion ripping some guy apart with a 5 foot tall guy.

Second,  you want retro gaming, build a retro cab. I believe that with the proper cab, you will expand your room into a complete arcade.

I believe that both a projector and a retro cab will fill your needs. infact, if you have a big crowed you can plug your dlp projector into the game on the cab and watch it on the big screen as they fight it out on the cab.

They treated me like an animal and that's what I became.
