Well I just called them up and asked them what type of joysticks that it had in it they said that they were eight way I was hoping they were 49 way but oh well
Dude! $100 for a fully wired JAMMA cabinet is a great price, even minus the monitor. Just add up a few bits here:
Coin Door ($50 to 100)
2 Joysticks ($20 or so)
Buttons ($2 each)
Deluxe JAMMA Harness ($35)
Power Supply ($20)
Marquee light ($15)
And we haven't put any value on the cab or artwork yet. It's basically ready for you to put in your monitor and board, DONE!
I think that $100 is a bit much I have tools and some wood but not enough wood to build one I would like to buy one cause I don't feel like building one really I told them that I think that $100 is too much maybe I spoke too soon I said I would like the owner to call me back...
Your time is worth money, unless you have a passion for building a cab.
By the time you tried to build that cab, you'd have put well over $100 in just parts alone.
Yeah, they won't be calling back. Why would the owner go out of his way to call you back to get chiseled down in price? You should have gone there with cash in hand. Maybe they had something else in worse condition for less, maybe the had something better! You'll never know now. :-(
