Aren't these just stripped standard coin mechs?  Seems you could modify just about any mech and defeat the 'single type' coin acceptance.

yes its they have just had the validation check modified so any coin falls through to the coin box

you can get uk coin specific mechs from suzo/happs

How much is pricey?  You can find new mechs Happ or others for around $12 to $15 USD all the time.  Used ones most folks want $10 each.

what sort is it mate? have you got a photo you could send me?

i'm after a mechanical one that has a microswitch to register credits and will accept at least a UK 10 pence piece
