I do not envy you the headache you will have when you awake. But, in the meantime, rest well, and dream of large women.

That's not even 10 hours a day, get a real job you dang hippy!

My personal record is from when I worked Mon-Fri 9-5 at a graphic design place, then Thr-Fri 7-3 and Sat-Sun 3-3 at a bar. I went 5 weeks without a day off, and I was developing a serious alcohol problem. Looking back, I don't know how I used to survive.

The only alcohol problem I fear is running out of alcohol.

You got me thinking about one of my favourite quotes..

"Once, during a brewery strike, I survived on nothing but food and water."

Pete,

Rest well, don't burn yourself out on work like I did! My projects are starting to pile up now because of the crazy hours in the last few months, bleh! I just don't feel like creating anything. Also this forum is a bit habit forming and hasn't helped any (on career productivity level). :)

I was developing a serious alcohol problem. Looking back, I don't know how I used to survive.

I think you answered it ;)

We joke at our firm about making the back office a champagne room. I think I'm going to suggest a full bar in the front one instead... it'd look good with the cab. Seriously though working on design full time can be such a drain. Especially if the firm is very demanding or strict. Then you went to a physically demanding job afterwords? Ouch! Bartender, make it a double!

At this point in the week I'd just settled for a 6-pack of a good import in the mini fridge... Oh well, 7 hours and counting down!

"NO, I'm not an alcoholic.  I don't go to those meetings"

"I drank so much during my life, if I'm cremated when I die, it will take 40 boy scouts to put me out"
