problem displaying vertically in fe3darcade

I have fe3darcade on my mame machine, and I just installed an arcade monitor with a vga arcade ultimarc card. I was originally using a tv. Now when I go to launch the front end a screen pops up saying that errors occured and the program has to be restarted. Does anyone know what settings I need to change to get this to work? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Rob
