I swear I've seen this discussed/mentioned before, but I just got some leaf buttons that don't quite fit into my microswitch holes (which are 1-1/8th")

I could probably beat them into the holes, but I'd rather not.  Okay, okay, I won't REALLY beat them in, I'll file out the holes a bit, but I'm curious about what bit-size I should be using for these.

Thanks

Found the answer in Knievel's thread about lighting translucent buttons. Linky

For those who've never used the Wico's before I wanted to add the fact that they need a 1 3/16" hole vs the usual 1 1/8" pushbutton hole.

I've actually press-fit a bunch of mine into 1-1/8" holes.
I don't need to use any special tricks to mount them that way (i.e. counterboring the holes ala Williams, etc..)

I'm using short (metal CP) buttons straight into my wood CP, so it works nicely.
I don't even use switch holders with them.
I just glue a small block of wood onto the bottom of the CP, and screw the switches to that, to put them at just the right height above the bottom of the button.
