Hyperbowl "trackball"

Anyone play hyperbowl.  I finally got to play it.  I know want to get the PC version for my cabinet.  It NEEDS the bowling ball trackball interface though.  That ball rolls extremely smooth, anyone have any ideas on where to get or how to make?
