FS in DFW, Hot Rod ***PRICE DROP
« on: June 01, 2005, 11:51:50 pm »
I guess it's time to get rid of my Hot Rod.  It's been in the garage for almost a year now.  Everything works great on it.  The art is very nice.  Except for the CP, it looks terrible, don't know how it looks so bad and the rest of the cabinet looks so nice.  It has a 25" screen with a little burn in.  Could use a cap kit though or some adjustment, not sure which.  It is a fun game, similar to Off Road but on streets instead.  Asking $200.

Next I'll be on fries, and that's when the big money starts rolling in.

Say it ain't so...
I remember when you picked up that cab... You had such great hopes & dreams...

Has the wifey crushed them all? (Your hopes, etc...)
Or have you just flat out run out of room?

How's it been going anyhow?
I'm not a freak!...

I got another cabinet that I just had to have so one has to go (a little game called Star Wars).  I've officially run out of room in the garage so it's time clean house.  It is going great otherwise, help of course by my new aquisition.  If you're interested I need to also move that Monaco GP.  You can have it if you like.  It actually has a CP unlike yours had.
Next I'll be on fries, and that's when the big money starts rolling in.

I wish I had the room! Unfortunately I already have one 3 steering wheeled beast in my garage.  :)

Would you be able to hold it for a month or so until I could get up to it?

It has the boards, CP, coin door, bezel, smoked plexi, fully lighted marquee.  No monitor, no side art.  It powers up but I'm not sure if it is actually working or not.

It sounds like Flampoo will be picking it up this weekend.  If he changes his mind it'll be back up for grabs.
Next I'll be on fries, and that's when the big money starts rolling in.

I've got a working monitor from my Monaco GP cabinet... (Took it out when I sold the cabinet)
I had plans for it, but it's gonna be a while before I get around to that project.

It's got a minimal amount of burn (Game Over), but it's not noticable during play.

I'm not in a hurry to get rid of it, but for the right offer (& local pick-up) I would probably let it go.

Yeah, if you're sure you want it, I can hold it for you.

Flampoo has taken the Monaco GP cabinet.  So now it is just the Hot Rod left to go.
Next I'll be on fries, and that's when the big money starts rolling in.

Just bumping this up.  I'll take $125 for the cabinet this week.  Otherwise I may take it to the auction this weekend.
Next I'll be on fries, and that's when the big money starts rolling in.
