Happ sells a clear 3" trackball but its more expensive than Bob Roberts ($55.40) so you would be better off with his. As for 2" trackballs I think 2 1/4" is the standard arcade size and I'm not sure if any games game with a smaller size than that.

Ouch - I don't want to spend money on either of those.

Very nice, thanks for the link!  I'll have to see if I can track these down in the UK.

Before I decided on clear with RGB LED, I was tempted to go for Bob Roberts 'Cherry Red' translucent 3" ball - nice to have something a little different.  Then I found out they stopped making them.

Still interested in 2" tracks if anybody has any info...

If you're handy with metal, you might be able to make your own 2" trackball cage.  Look at pictures of a Missile Command TB assembly, they're really simple.

weight, and the fact that you'd have to replace your rods with inferior stuff, so as to not scratch up your ball.

in retrospect, that sentence didn't come out right, but you get what i mean.

I'm pretty sure a user here has used these with success, try a search for "juggling ball".

BTW, I found the clear juggling balls in the UK, but they're about twice the price!  And so far I haven't seen any of the nice colours / UV / glitter...
