Non pressure sensitive PS2 buttons
« on: May 23, 2005, 02:31:23 pm »
Hi there,

My name is Alex, and I'm a game enthusiast a C5/6 quadriplegic as well.  I'm really impressed with the gusto people have shown in the "controller for quadriplegic" thread and in the site in general.

I stumbled onto the site while looking for a suitable PS2 controller.  I know it's a bit off-topic, but I wondered if anyone had come across anything during their Playstation research.  I can use the standard controllers for any game that doesn't require heavy shoulder-button use, but my performance sucks at games that require you to mash the pressure-sensitive buttons down.  Has anyone seen a PS2 controller that has both an analog stick and non-pressure sensitive buttons?  Any suggestions on where to look?

Thanks a bunch,
Alex

The PS1 dual shock controllers do exactly what you are looking for.  I don't know if the PS2 willm work properly with them though.  Anyone tried this?
