Congrats! I can definitely relate... how did you get them? eBay, or some other way? Was there a bidding war or just right place at the right time? :)

I was very fortunate. It was an eBay auction, and I just happened to hit the "refresh" button at just the right time while I was browsing. ;D

that looks great tim. congrats.  how much do you guys think the control panel alone (without the guns) would go for?

There is a guy around here who has been trying to sell a complete T2 cab forever... no one seems to want it, his price is way more than reasonable.   ;D

Since I'll be using the Lusid Arcade Flashback plans from the Project Arcade book, I'll need to find an effective way to mount the guns level, like on the original machine, but on a slanted control panel top.

I do have a pretty good idea though. The control panel I bought comes with no "boxes" to go around the gun mechanics, so if I could make my own custom ones out of MDF with the bottoms being at the same angle as the control panel, the guns will be level when they're mounted. I'll need to find out what the dimensions of the original "boxes" are first, though.

I probably won't be using the original control panel from the T2 game, but it could make a nice collector's item to have around.
