Looking for some help or a point in the right direction

Ive looked through a bit of the info here, and im glad to see so many people helping each other out and what not.  I am a volenteer for a place called the Fleet Reserve.  It is a club for those who have retired from the navy, and other military branches, and their familys. 

Our local building is currently useing a juke box not owned by them.  They rent it out, and the company they rent from gets 50% of the money made from it.  That might sound all well and good, however, they are a non profit organization, and its hard for them to keep the club going.  They are not happy with their jukebox, as it doesnt have many songs, the company is taking 50%, and its old.

I have told them i would look into some other way for them to have a jukebox.  I love the idea that i could build them one, and they could benifit from it greatly, however, there is one problem.  I havent found a way, that i can attach the money collecting device so they are limited to playing the music like they are now, only the fleet reserve would gain all the money from people useing it. 

So my question is, does anyone know how i could use a dollar machine to take, and credit songs.  I beleive i would need a software solution as well.  If i can find a way, i will be building this jukebox for them, and donating it.  100% free of charge to them, as ill get the parts out of my own pocket.

Any help would be greatly appricaited, or even a step in the right direction would help considerably.

1st. I think what you are trying to do is great.But. It is Illegal in the great old USA to have a video jukebox in a commercial business unless you have a contract with BMI<ASCAP SESAC< and The Harry Fox org for the use rights . A regular jukebox license agreement will not cover you. And also it is illegal to convert music from any form to mp3 for this use. It has to be in its original form(CD).. You can thank our old president Mr.Clinton for this. He signed it to bill  during his last session. Best of luck to you. The fines range from $750 to $150,000 for each time a song is played and or converted for this use.. You can contact the Digital part of BMI here.
