t-molding all around cabinet?

I haven't noticed, but do many cabinets place the tmolding all around the cabinet edges?  For example along the bottom, top, and back.

If not, other than the corner protecters, what do you use to protect the wood from splintering along the edges?

Some cabinets have t-moulding all around the edge.
Example: my digdug cabinet's t-moulding goes around the entire cabinet (I used 50 feet), but my Pac Man cabinet's t-moulding goes around the front, and stops after about 3in. on the bottom and on the back.

Short answer, yes--If you have enough T-molding to do it, by all means, go all the way around otherwise, don't lose any sleep over it.

I had not considered putting it on the bottom, and I doubt I will.

I put it on the front & top, but not on the back or the bottom.

Depends if you are using coloured T-Moulding. If you are using a colour other than black I think it adds to the cabs profile to have it all the way around.
I didn't touch it....honest!
